Didn't work as expected.

I'm a woman with some handy woman experience. This was a lot cheaper solution for a drain for a column bathroom that always seemed to get plugged for no reason. I pulled the original off and pushed this one an and walla! If I was doing a dishwasher or other hi pressure replacement I would probably use a metal pipe. In the case of a bathroom drain with low pressure needs this worked perfect.

This flimsy thing leaked as soon as I put it on. It had a hole at the tail end of it. In addition, it doesn’t come with any clamps or proper fitting gaskets. I would spend the extra few dollars and get something that last long term , if you don’t want future plumbing problems later.

So far, so good, but I've barely been using this, so I don't know how long it will last. Maybe 1 month, maybe 20 years. So this review cannot be about long-term durability. What I will say is that is should come with instructions. I asked question on this site about how to install it, and the answer was very vague. "One end under directly under the sink drain, the other into the house drain to the sewer." Of course, that's correct, but not very helpful. What I wanted to know was HOW to attach each end. The end that attaches to the sink side doesn't have a nut and washer. The sewage side does. It turns out the part that goes under the sink needs a Worm Gear Hose Clamp. (See the picture; on the left middle portion and/or google that phrase.) I only figured this out by looking at images of similar products, where the clamp was in the picture! Instructions would have been very helpful, and including the clamp should be mandatory. (Thankfully, I had a spare clamp in my toolbox.) Once I figured it out on my own, the rest of the installation wasn't too difficult. The flexibility of the tube is rather nice. Most Youtube videos of changing a standard bathroom sink P-trap will be enough to learn the rest.

Love this thing! Fastest insulation project ever and to top it all off I saved about 25 bucks from Lowe's. Do yourself a favor? Get this flex pipe. Save some time and money

I really liked the fact this thing is the easiest thing in the world to install! It would be better if it was made of a little bit thicker material but over all super worth the money! Even if it only lasts a year way cheaper than paying a plumber!
