The original plugs with over 100k were in good shape when I took them out. I probably could have continued using them for a while longer, but I didn't want to risk damaging the O2 sensors, and cats. It's not like you can see when they go out of spec. The cost of replacing the O2's and cats isn't worth the couple of dollars you would save by keeping them in for even 40k past the recommended interval. Either way you still end up changing the plugs. Review: Original at lesser cost - This was the same factory spark plugs on my Nissan Rogue which should be changed at 100k miles. Easy to change. The price is the lowest anywhere. A little disappointed with the packaging as two of the plugs were loose inside the shipping box. The packaging could've been better by using fillers. The car runs fine now. If its the QR25DE it will fit. **Q: Do you need to gap these?** A: I always check, carefully. I have heard that you damage the contacts, but I've got a pretty light hand with a feeler gauge. I checked the gap and they were right on specs. I have never had a bad experience with NGK spark plugs and these are no different. Installed and the engine is running like new again. I ordered 4 and Amazon sent me 16 ( 4 packs of 4). This is a very costly mistake on Amazon's part as these plugs run $20 apiece. I returned the 12 extra plugs to Amazon.
