DenTek Wax for Braces, 2 count

I've been using Dentek Wax for Braces for about 14 months now. I love it. For the reviewer who said the wax is not pliable...simply cup the needed amount in your hand (so it doesn't blow off) and heat it with a hair dryer. Gets soft and pliable right away. I have to make sure the area to which I am applying it is completely dry, but other than that, I find it really easy to work with. I love this stuff. The brackets on my braces give me bad sores in my mouth if I don't use the wax. I don't have to use it that long either, because in a few days the braces shift and the problem is gone. At one time, you were able to buy this wax in two-packs and I don't know what happened to that option. I get my braces off in a few months, but in the meantime, I'm going to keep using this.

Pricey, but worth it. Firm but will mold into ball with just your hand warmth. When it's too stiff then I hold in my hand until its warm enough to mold. Sometimes in summer they melt a bit, but it comes with a small spatula that you can use. This is the only one I use. Plus you can make it last a while.

much thicker than wax from dentist. it works but it doesn't stay put as well.

Life saver for my Invisalign treatment. At times my trays were slightly jagged or as my teeth shifted & trays were less tight they would rub on my cheeks. I wasn’t sure how well wax would stick to Invisalign, but it has worked perfectly.

I ordered this when the orthodontist sent me home with new braces and no wax - it was going to be the fastest arrival. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the travel packs and how refreshing the mint is!

I've purchased DenTek wax strips many times over the past two years or so and always was satisfied with quality until my most recent purchase about a month ago. The current wax strips are not pliable and the wax breaks easily. It's not possible to neatly tear off one strip from the others. Want a strip, cut if off with a knife. The wax simply isn't of the same malleability or texture as it used to be and this should be apparent to any one familiar with DenTek wax. Currently the product is made in China. Quality problems with certain items made in China are well known. Although DenTek telephone customer service says the wax has always been made in China, I question that and, in any event, certainly find the current product to be inferior to that previously sold by DenTek. I suggest trying Orthomechanics LC wax strips which I've been told are made in the US and are as good as DenTek used to be.

I'm using wax to fill a broken tooth. I ran out of another brand and decided to get this item. The wax is very hard and not easy to mold. As the wax breaks down over time it begins to taste very salty.

This is the best wax all the other brands we've tried are really soft this one's a little harder stays better not as mushy

La cire ne tient pas du tout et est très dure à manier. Les instructions ne sont pas clairs mais c'est pas le plus gros défauts

Funziona bene, ha un profumo e un sapore neutro. Costa meno che in farmacia. Direi ok. Il bastoncino in plastica non serve a niente.
