Removed the old bulbs, removed the magnetic ballasts, and rewired the fixtures. Two of these bulbs provide more light than four of the old fluorescent bulbs. Put four bulbs in each fixture. No more hum from the ballasts, no more varying light from the old bulbs. Just quite even light.Ok I am an electrical engineer, but the rewiring was child's play and well worth it. I ended up purchasing 60 of these LED bulbs and every one was fine. The wife is happy and so am I. Also saving on electrical bill. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Makes upgrading to LED very easy. *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 3, 2020* I bought the box of 30. The box arrived damaged and taped. In the course of installing I found ~7 cracked(at one end) tubes. They were all installed and worked(except 1). UPS delivered mine. I would suggest an outer container. I doubt a fragile label would help. I would buy again..prefer to pick them up myself. ### ⭐⭐ Not the quality I expected. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 7, 2018* I purchased this for the low price and high lumens. I am pleased with the lights overall, when they work. Unfortunately, within the first day, 5 of the 30 tubes have quit working (usually less than 2 hrs use). Looks like the electronics shorted because after the tubes failed, the electronics end of the tube stays hot until I remove it from the fixture. Another brand of LED tube I have does not get hot at all in the same fixture, so these tubes must waste some energy making extra heat.So, for 25 working tubes, the price is actually more than other offerings. I had planned to order another box, but after the 5 tubes failed so soon, I will be ordering from another place. I will test the remaining tubes for a few more days and then contact Amazon to see what they can do.
