However, I ended up playing a game that needed voice to talk to your team and when I plugged the voice jack into the computer the headset didn't work. Apparently, Logitech (maybe other brands) require you to have this adapter in order for the headphones to function properly. I'm guessing when I bought these headphones back in the day they probably came with this jack but I've always just used the 3.5mm headphone and voice jacks in the front of my computer and probably threw the adapter away. Anyway, this solved the problem and works like a CHAMP!!! Which is *absolutely critical* for recording or talking with your team mates in a fast paced environment. I bought this to use with a Logitech G PRO (great headset, kinda hard to find, but quality.) It works as expected, and adds the one feature I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED from a higher quality headset that SPECIFICALLY says it was designed by GAMERS...
