**Q: will this holster fit a ruger p-95 with light attachment**
A: I have a large laser on my Taurus p-92 and the P95 is about the same size.  My laser sticks out the bottom but acceptable.  Makes the quick draw a little harder, if your have a mini lite or laser draw should be fine.  Straps are velcro adjustable, I think it will even fit my .45 1911.

**Q: How well does it fit a Taurus PT99 without a laser?**
A: I bought this holster for use with my Taurus PT-92 AF specifically for use with a Surefire X300 Ultra. Until you posted this question, I never considered using the holster without the light. So, while I don't exactly have the same model Taurus PT99 model you describe, I took it upon myself to run a short experiment. I took the Surefire light off the railing and found that the bulkier PT model I had, fit too loosely for my standards. And while you can adjust the velcro on the holster; I did not feel it compensated enough for the kind of fit I prefer. I found was that the muzzle would 'float' and wiggle at the bottom of the holster. I didn't run an obstacle course or anything, but it seemed to retain the pistol in place with some adjustments of the velcro strap and retained my gun in place. However, that being said; with the Surefire light in place I have found the aforementioned holster works great and fits like a glove. Just my humble opinion... Thank you
