Fantastic product
Totally love this!!! - I have always used Leatherman multi tools but thought I would give Victorinox Swiss Army knifes a try and I am so glad I did, The quality is fantastic and with so many different useful tools all in one place i love it, The hardest decision with so many different models to choose from was which one to choose, If you are thinking about buying one - Stop thinking and just go ahead and buy one - You won’t be disappointed.

Three years later and it's still as good as new!
I bought the Cybertool 41 when I started a new job three years ago, along with a brown leather pouch (Victorinox Swiss Army Brown Leather Pouch 5-8 Layer) to carry it on my belt. It is the single most useful item I have ever purchased, and the best investment considering the low price. I use it all day, everyday. It's been used to take apart computers and expensive scientific instrumentation (thanks to the useful hex screw bits), to cut tubing, open boxes, file down metal catches, cut small branches off trees, open cans and bottles, prune my bonsai trees, cut my nails, fix my bike; the list really is endless. It has never been off my hip since I bought it (apart from when flying). If I had to pick the most useful tool I'd be torn between the screw driver with interchangeable bits or the pliers. If you're worried about carrying the Cybertool in public, don't. Due to the sub 3 inch, non locking blade it is perfectly legal to carry around with you pretty much anywhere in the UK (unless you are using it in a threatening manner). The price of around £50 may seem a little steep, but when I think about how much I use it and how stuck I'd be without it it's payed for itself many times over. A decent Leatherman will set you back around £100. This has only slightly less functionality but has the advantages of being smaller and lighter. After three years in my possession (a rather heavy handed individual) it is as new, apart from a few scuffs where I've managed to drop it. It's well built and needs little looking after; I give it a good wash with dish detergent and lube it every few months. To summarize, this is like having a small toolkit in your pocket. Sturdy, reliable and infinitely useful. One of the best purchases I have ever made. I also recommend the Victorinox Swiss Army Brown Leather Pouch 5-8 Layer to go with the tool - Victorinox Swiss Army Brown Leather Pouch 5-8 Layer .

Does it all
If you’re after a multitool that can do it all then look no further, the tools are extremely well made, for some the weight and size may be an issue however for me it’s perfect. There’s 2 cons which I would say first being sometimes some of the tools can be awkward to pull out especially if you’ve just cut you’re nails, secondly I’d which they’d include a extra set of bits just in case. Apart from that I think it’s perfect,

A brilliant member of the Swiss Army knife family, but…….it has issues.
I’m a lifelong fan of Swiss Army Knives (SAK’s), and have different models that I carry in different situations. This looked like a good one for my IT and technical days. It’s well designed but sadly Victorinox have made what I assume are savings by compromising on manufacturing of one of the tools. As I own older classics, I was always impressed by their metalsaw/file which has a good quality crosscut. This model sports a very rough single cut which can only be described as a budget ‘bastard file’ (a real term for a very rough file that is only used for removing large volumes of material without any finesse). This seems a strange cut to include in a penknife. If this had a better file, which I foolishly assumed it still had, I would have given 5 stars. The bit driver and the accompanying double ended 4mm bits are impressive with a small caveat. It would be useful to be able to buy additional bits for other purposes. The ones you get, and can replace at great cost, are an okay range but a wider range would make this a vital pocket tool for anyone in IT. It’s a bit thick and heavy - just a tad thicker than the Champ - and has a pretty wide tool set. The bulk of the knife is taken up by the bit driver and the bit caddy. The S or M model would have been a better option, but the S has now been withdrawn, only available via the Victorinox own site at great expense, and the M was on sale for a greater price on Amazon. This may end up as the source of components for a bespoke modified SAK. This will invalidate the lifetime warranty - If you want to try this yourself, be aware of this. In conclusion: Close, but no cigar!
