I bought 50 heat packs from this seller and out of the 50 I used 32 to ship fish. The heat packs did not heat very well, and at best were ineffective. I have used these heat packs before and always wrap these heat packs in newspaper. Not an issue for them to heat in about 30 - 40 min. or so. NEVER a problem until now with the heat packs I purchased from this seller. Those who ship live tropical fish and those who use this product to keep their reptiles warm understand the need for these heat packs to provide the proper temp. I requested a refund because these packs were defective and just did not heat adequately. I was denied because I followed the manufacturer’s instructions on the package and not the product description listed on the seller’s page for this product. The product description is not, I repeat, is not the instructions on how to effectively used the manufacturer’s product.I am sure the manufacturer has tested various ways to use their product and have found the most effective and successful way to achieve the proper heat. That’s just sound business practice. I doubt very seriously that the manufacturer will provide specific instructions if those instructions would not yield the proper results. I gave this seller a chance above all of the negative reviews they have received. They failed! Lesson learned! Never again in trillion years!

Purchased 50 of these about 40 days ago. Used for shipping.  4 out of 10 used did not work. Had 3 seperate packages arrive to customers cold. 1 test warmer never heated.Asked for a product replacement / refund.Seller refused because it was past  (approx 10 days) the 30 day warrenty.
