I am no where near this weight limit. One day while siting on the cot I braced myself using my arm towards the front of the cot. When I went to get up a support broke near where my hand was located. One thing to remember when using these, you need some kind of pad underneath. I tried to sleep on mine at my sons and it was so hard I had to sleep on couch. If you don't mind sleeping on a hard surface then this will do. Otherwise get a 4 inch padding to sleep on and will be great. Oh, just want you to know this was not a manufacture problem, they do tell you it is firm to sleep on. So how ever you want to comprehend the word firm is up to you.
