Fixed condensate pump cycling....
I have a very highly rated (here on amazon) condensate pump, but I noticed that the one way valve on it simply does not work. Because my condensate pump pumps directly up 9 feet, water in the hose after the pump shuts off would drain back into the tank and reactivate the pump.... over and over again. I tested these one way valves in the sink and then on the pump and the work great! Now I have to say... the thing that kills condensate pumps is the crap that grows in the tank. I have to imagine that that stuff will clog one of these valves, too. so change them when you change your heating/cooling filter!

when used on gas cans they still need to be sealed up even using smaller than 3/8 drill bits. they're cheap they're plastic all seemed to work fine out of the box. how long will they last...not sure, I'll update when they start giving out for a time frame used with petroleum products.

Really helped
The check valve that was installed on my condensate pump did not seem to hold 100% so I added this CV in-line as a second check valve and now I have no backflow

They break, very cheap.
Two out of the 3 I used have broken in less than a month. Both brakes occurred at the same place and I'm using these on 4in air stones in a fish tank. Do not buy this garbage.

I bought these for my A/C drain lines and the work perfectly. I glued them into a pvc cap and attached to my septic line. Would purchase again.
