They seem to be of good quality. They fit snug and with an audible click when engaged. They soldered in well. No complaints!

Worked well. No issues. A suggestion would be to leave the plastic connectors separate from the pigtail wires. This would give the mechanic the choice of putting new connectors on the existing wires on the car. Give the customer the choice of just adding the plastic connectors to the car without having to splice wire. That would have been better for me. I took all the connectors off the wires and put them on the existing wires of my car.

Bought two sets based on some reviews stating that a few arrived broken. Cheap enough to buy to so I'd be able to make one good set if that happened, or I broke one installing it. Second set was returned unopened. My 2000 Ford Explorer 5.0L harness uses this style connector. When removing the harness from my engine every one of the locking tabs snapped off at the slightest press. Having been in place and likely untouched for 24 years, I wasn't too surprised. Considered using zipties to hold them in palce, but these were cheap enough to try and replace them. My wires were in excellent shape, so rather than cutting and splicing, I depinned and swapped the connectors housing over to my wires. They were all swapped over quickly. Didn't time it, but easily less than 30 minutes including figuring hout how to depin. If you are going to replace them this way, you'll only need a few tools. You'll want a good headlamp to see what you're doing inside the connector and keep both hands free. You'll need a small flat head screw driver and maybe a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the retainer. You'll also need either a smaller flat screw driver (think micro precision small) or a straight pick to release the locking tabs, but do it gently. Pull gently on the wires as you are lifing the locking tab and they will slide right out. Install is reverse of removal. Everything installed well, they feel well made and look identical to my original connectors.

So as I read in a few other reviews these clips are fragile and will break when removed. They went on great and super snug with a great seal, but when I went to remove it the retaining clip broke off. So I soldered them into my harness then plugged them in... hopefully I don't need to remove them lol. For the price the quality is what I expect... I figure if one breaks when I go to remove it Ill just de pin and re pin with a new connector again. Deserves a 4/5 in my eyes

This is a direct replacement for a 5.4 3v. Factory wire pins will fit into this harness.

Yes, you can depin these and the OEM connectors so that you don't need to cut the factory wires. Did this on a 99 Grand Marquis. The brittle OEM connectors depin easily. Much less work than splicing wires. Buy a couple sets in case you break a couple of the new ones learning how to depin them.
