This grinder works nicely for "drip" and "espresso" grinds, I produces a very fine to moderate grind. But I cannot produce a coarser grind for use in a French Press, this I seems to be an issue for this grinder. Unless the burr can somehow be adjusted beyond what the rotary dial indicates for a coarse grind. **Q: amazon wake up. a lot of these review are for a french press coffee maker not a burr coffee grinder. please edit these pages?** A: People mention the French Press beccause you need a consistent coarse grind. It's easy to find a blade grinder that does a fine grind, so French Press users struggle to find a burr grinder which does the job and doesn't corst an arm and a leg. **Q: How difficult or easy is it to thoroughly clean the secura scg-903b automatic electric burr coffee grinder mill?** A: Relatively easy - The burr spins off for easy access. The bin rinses easily enough 2-piece lid & bin portion with water. As for the grounds/grinds which occasional spill/drop out onto the counter top - Its not many thereby making a thorough mess type thing, it is not. My old Krupp/Braun grinders, I thought were messier... **Q: can it be used as a spice grinder?** A: If you set it to the finest setting, it might, but you would be spending a lot of money to figure out that it didn't work. A normal, $15 or $20 conventional, rotary blade grinder would be better money spent. Or on something that is a dedicated spice grinder. ## Frequently Bought Together - Secura Electric Burr Coffee Grinder Mill, Adjustable Cup Size, 17 Fine to Coarse Grind Size Settings for Drip, Percolator, French Press and Turkish Coffee Makers, Black,12 cups - San Francisco Bay Coffee - Dark Roast Whole Bean Coffee - Extra Dark Italian (2 lb bag) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.id/products/92253283-burr-coffee-grinder](https://www.desertcart.id/products/92253283-burr-coffee-grinder) --- *Product available on Desertcart Indonesia* *Store origin: ID* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
