Great pieces
i was surprised at the quality of the metal. they work. what more can you say? I used one to grind a custom cut off with it. A 1/8" cutter. And it works great. Doesn't dull as long as you're using common sense and keep it lubricated. I don't see anything to go wrong with buying these.

They are legit
I give these 5 stars. They work excellently. I thought for sure I was going to get them and be disappointed because you never know what you are getting. However I was more than pleasantly surprised by them. I was worried they weren't going to be real or work, but I could tell immediately they were legit as soon as I started grinding on them to form my tools. Very happy with my purchase and you cannot beat the price. They do have limitations like most things but they work great with cold rolled or hot rolled steel. However trying to use them to cut tool steel is going to be tough and that is just because there are no additives to make it stronger. I have been able to cut up to .200 in thick chips easily. That is on a full size South Bend or a Republic not a table top lathe. They will last years if you know what you are doing, there is so much material to work with. They do take a little longer to grind obviously because they are 1/2 in and not your standard 3/8 bit.

Very Handy
I know some machinist like to make there own cutting tool, that's good. A job came up where I could not find the right angle of a cutter. So I ordered this blank cutting tool, grinding it to the job specification.

Big thicc bois
Very nice HSS quality, big thicc blanks that are great considering the size. Be sure you understand what you’re buying - these are BLANKS. It is up to you to grind and hone them to the sharpness and geometry you want, they are not intended to be used as-is.

Good Value. Too bad Prime fell on their sword with a 4 day next day delivery.
These blancs look fine. Have not yet ground or otherwise used them yet. Should work fine for what I intend. Great value!
