Review: Perfect Pad - So I've backpacked for years with traditional roll up foam and or roll up self inflating pads. They were bulky and usually so big they had to be attached outside the backpack. This pad is a great innovation because not only is it very lightweight and compact but it is also incredibly comfortable. The material and seams appear to be durable enough to survive anything but a direct hit with a sharp object. Just in case there are a couple of patches included. Very easy to inflate and deflate. It's early springtime and I haven't ventured out yet, just tried it at home, but I'm very excited to get this baby up into the mountains.

So I've backpacked for years with traditional roll up foam and or roll up self inflating pads. They were bulky and usually so big they had to be attached outside the backpack. This pad is a great innovation because not only is it very lightweight and compact but it is also incredibly comfortable. The material and seams appear to be durable enough to survive anything but a direct hit with a sharp object. Just in case there are a couple of patches included. Very easy to inflate and deflate. It's early springtime and I haven't ventured out yet, just tried it at home, but I'm very excited to get this baby up into the mountains.

It is portable, lightweight, and easy to inflate/deflate. I was surprised how comfortable it is, because it is quite thin when you inflate it. However, it is just as comfortable as a normal, full-sized inflatable mattress. Definitely a good purchase and highly recommend!
