I recently used them inside lanterns with ornaments for a holiday party table setting and right now have them in the wreath on my outside door. Requires 3-AA batts. Wires are silver. The Kelvin score is 2800-3200K, which puts it into the warm white category of 2,000-3,000K, and slightly into the cool white 3,100-4,500K. They do have a slightly cool tinge, but overall they look warm white. The difference is noticeable if you are mixing them with warmer white lights under 3,000K.I have these outside under a covered porch. They are holding up well in rainy, cold winter weather. They work well with the remotes.
