Do these 'air tight' containers - meaning will they keep cookies or other baked goods fresh?

YES, they keep everything very fresh. I have all sizes of Klip it and use them for everything, but i use the larger sizes, like the one shown for my baked good--muffins, cupcakes, cookies, etc. I've always been pleased with this product and would buy more if I had room!! :)

can you fit a cigar Spanish cedar tray inside the 29 cup Sistema Klip It container

Some trays you can only fit one, but in the 236oz Klip it you can fit two of the FESS trays. They are 2" high so two fit in the 7l/236oz one. Search for ASIN B0733TYGWX to find the FESS trays.

It’s made a plastic so of course it’s “waterproof.” I use mine for brining.
