Supplementation with stitches and "glue" seem the best combination. Not an all-in-one solution, but works very good with small, cheap additions. Recommend, but caveat emptor. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for kids rough on their pants! *by J***W on February 2, 2018* I have a 7 year old baseball player who thinks sliding anytime, anywhere is his job. He literally "burns" holes in his brand new pants in PE class or out at recess after 1-2 wears. SO FRUSTRATING! Like maybe I should just send him to school in shorts year-round?! These patches are the only solution I have been able to come up with. I iron them on from the inside, and with some careful pinching of the fabric to bring the edges of the holes back together, once ironed the pants don't look too bad. They don't look perfect, but I refuse to keep buying new pants after only 1-2 wears, so this is the next best solution. I had a pair of jeans that had started to split at the seam, and was able to secure them just with an iron. You absolutely can not tell, and it saved me a trip to the tailors.
