Review: Radial USB-Pro is the best way to get from a computer to a mixer or DAW - The Radial USB-Pro Stereo USB laptop DI box works great. I use it to run .wav files from a laptop through my tube compressor into my DAW with zero quality loss. (unlike using the high impedance out of a headphone jack which is a very noticeable loss in dynamic range and overall sound.) The beautiful part of the process is the drivers seem to be included in this device and when I plugged it in to my Windows 7 64bit laptop the device just worked. I am very happy with Radial products and have a handful of their di boxes. I will continue to use their products as they are solid, transparent and reliable.

**Q: In your opinion, does the radial usb-pro sound much better than the radial jpc?  looking for a solution that will accept both laptop and ipad audio.**
A: Hello, both radial devices are great. It really comes down to the individual preference. We find the USB Pro is the device of choice for laptops and Ipad.

**Q: Will this work with an iPad if you use the apple lighting to usb 3 camera adapter powered with a usb charger?**
A: I doubt it, as the ipad most likely doent have drivers for the interface…but who knows?

**Q: Is this DI bus powered or does it require phantom power or a battery?**
A: Bus powered. USB in, XLR out...that’s it!  No phantom or external power required.

**Q: What kind of latency does this device introduce when receiving output from MainStage 3?**
A: Theoretically there may be some latency, but it is so infinitesimal as to be imperceptible.

The Radial USB-Pro Stereo USB laptop DI box works great. I use it to run .wav files from a laptop through my tube compressor into my DAW with zero quality loss.
