So I used these to prevent dust from getting into outlets. Cheap enough, easy solution. They work great... HOWEVER, and this is a big one, they may work TOO well. I got these stuck in a few different outlets one being my APC UPS battery backup. I had to use a screwdriver (yes I unplugged it and didn't touch the contacts!) to pry it out. My advice is to just remove the ground plug portion (wire cutters or pliers twisting the post back and forth will do it). There is no loss of safety because it will still stay in the socket very well with just two prongs inserted. This is just a word of caution from experience, as it is much easier to remove without the ground prong and there will be no fear of it getting stuck in a receptacle.

These are the best baby outlet covers I've used. They have a bottom part that you have to slide down, then pull out. Sliding it down is quite difficult - I can barely do it, so I doubt a baby/toddler would be able to (although some of those little buggers can do things adults can't, for sure!) What I really like about these, over the other ones I've used, is that you can leave the bottom part open (down), thus making it easier for ME to open while still covering the outlet. So it takes away the curiosity of the child to stick their fingers in the outlet, but I can remove it without breaking my (sadly brittle and/or nonexistent) nails. This gives me the very convenient option of making the outlets I never use completely impossible to access, while leaving the ones I often use covered but possible to open. For this reason, these are now my absolute favorite outlet covers ever. The quality is good and they seem durable as well. They also arrived more quickly than I had expected, which was nice.

These are functional, good value for price and easy to use.

These do the job! My toddler can't remove them, and they look nice in our home. It's also nice to have lots of extras just in case we lose them. The only issue I have with the product is that the little handle is difficult to pull down to remove from the electrical outlet. My husband can slide the latch down and pull out the outlet cover, but I'm not able to without some real force.

I bought these when my one and three year old grandchildren were visiting from out of town. I covered up all the outlets in my house so the toddlers would be safe. They were easy to put in and easy for adults to take out once they left. One of my granddaughters explored it, but was not able to pull it out.

Works so well! Easy to install and remove once you put the pull tab down.

They are impossible to pull out once in the socket. They are 100% baby proof, but adult proof too. All of the adults in my house, with all of their strength, cannot pull this out. It feels like it’s stuck on something. I am down an outlet right now because this this won’t budge. 5 stars for baby proof, 1 star because it’s now stuck in my wall

These serve the purpose of blocking the outlet from little hands, but the pull down handle to remove the plug is nearly impossible to slide down when in a socket. You need two fingers to pull it down but that’s not possible when it’s in the socket.
