Awesome Value and Great Ground Loop Noise Reduction!
I've looked at a lot of the popular power supplies on the market like some of the voodoo labs and Truetone 1spot bricks and this one seemed to have the right amount of outputs for the price. I'm surprised that these don't seem to be more popular. I had some noise before I bought this and now everything is quite and absolutely no noise (still a little pickup hum, but my noise gate squashes that completely; no power noise at all). The LEDs are very bright but I guess that is better than not bright enough. I have a Pedaltrain Pro and the cables were long enough that I was able to string my Time Machine nearly all the way to the opposite corner of the board. I was a little concerned about the "sag" outputs but it seems that you can just set them to 9V and they act as a normal 9V output. Also another huge point that I didn't really see anyone talking about on the internet: it seems to power the Digitech Whammy 5 flawlessly. NOTE: this is the version 5 that is 9VDC from the factory (not the AC older versions). So the original Whammy power brick and input say 1300mA, but the Whammy manual says that it consumes <265mA. I think the adapter is a generic Harmon adapter for many things and so they just want you to use what they already make which happens to be 1300mA max. The pedal will only pull the required amperage from the brick at 9V, which again is <265mA and I'm pretty confident that value is accurate, otherwise it wouldn't be in the manual. To be safe I put it on the 450mA output and it works great! Unexpected, but amazing results!
I have had a Boss PSM-5 daisy chain to power my pedals for decades. I've recently been making changes to my stomp boxes and gear, and wanted to finally splurge for an isolated power supply to help reduce ambient hum. I have 6 9v pedals needing power of various amperage requirements, and this power supply was recommended to me by experts on a YouTube channel I subscribe to. The unit itself is very sturdy and will hold up well to travel and gigs. Simple instructions included and I hooked all my pedals in and compared the before and after. Though it did some reduction of the ambient hum, it didn't eliminate it entirely. (I discovered that my guitar is the cause for the remaining him, something I still remedy with copper shielding tape.) I was a bit bummed, but I proceeded to discover an unexpected perk with this power supply. When I started playing, I noticed a much sharper clean tone as well as an increase in master volumes without touching my knobs. As I messed around using my various pedals, (wah, distortion, sustain, flange, compression/sustain) I was blown away with how they all sounded. Every effect sounds infinitely better with the M238. Signal volume is increased naturally and the attack and presence of each effect is crystal clear. I cannot wait to clean up my guitar wiring to get that studio-quality and interference free sound in the comforts of my house! Did yourself a favor and spend the money on a quality power supply like this one...

only the bottom plugs are easily accessible. As for the top row
I purchased this to use on a Pedaltrain Jr. I know a lot of you want to know if it fits under the board, and it does. However, because of the “T” shape of the rails, only the bottom plugs are easily accessible. As for the top row, there is not enough room to use the straight ends of the plugs. The right angle ends fit; however, to plug them in or unplug them, the unit has to be removed. This might be a deal killer for some, but it shouldn’t be. I actually purchased this unit to put on top of the board because 1) it looks cool, 2) it doesn’t take up much more room than a standard pedal, and 3) I wanted easy access to the variable output controls. I can’t really compared this to other power units. In the past, I’ve always used daisy chains or individual plugs, but in an effort to clean up my gain stage (and my space), I decided I need something that could power a number of pedals with isolated power and 18 volt output options. I chose this one because it had a large number of outputs (10) with a good variety of power options (the two variable outputs were a real selling point). Plus, the price was good compared to other similar power units. As for performance, I’ve used it for almost three weeks and absolutely love it. I have it powering five pedals: Polytune (9 volt 100mA), RC Booster (6-15 volt), OCD (6-15 volt), EHX Pulsar Stereo (9 volt 450mA), RE-20 Space Echo (9 volt 450mA). These all operate noise free and the unit runs cold. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone that is not too hung up on mounting it under a Pedaltrain Jr.

It is small, light, versatile and looks good.
This unit is apparently a good choice for the price considering what it offers in terms of versatility. It is smaller and lighter than I expected. This could be due to it's having a wall wart. It comes with various outlet adapters so I'm able to use it with a Europe style power outlet. As other reviewers pointed out, I'm a bit concerned about the AC adapter but I have had no problems so far!

Awesome quality and value. Stupidly bright unnecessary LEDs.
This seemed like the most economical choice for an isolated power supply for a decent sized pedal board. MXR products I've had have always been sturdy and top notch quality. This thing works well. My only complaint is the unnecessarily bright LEDs, and the outputs are laid out with no kind of reason or forethought. They just set up the easiest layout to wire. The 18v are all on opposite sides, so you gotta always double check visually that you're plugging in the right spot... unless you wanna fry something. Those stupid LEDs are right above all the voltage labels, so you can't read them at all... I would waste 5 minutes trying to plug in 1 thing. Eventually I put colored tape on them to distinguish them. Hey, at least it makes the pedalboard light up and look cool...

It’s what you need
I don’t have any boutique pedals, was just having pops & squeals with the daisy chain as I added more pedals. Definitely a happy camper now, super easy to install, doesn’t take up a bunch of space & the special part about no noise at all, no pops, squeals or hums, looks really cool with the blue lights to, going to put a blinder on the white light on top, almost got sunburned. If you’re undecided on if it’s worth it, think Simon & Garfunkel, sounds of silence, totally beautiful !!!

Iso good
A little pricey but worth its weight in gold. Absolutely no hum. Lots of output options. I've had no problems with the wires as of yet. Also i was able to mount the box and the ac adaptor, without fuss, to the stock bracket on my aluminum gator prdalboard. This allows the use of a quality extension cord without tugging on any wires.
