Review: Mixed reviews based on product description - I saw this on Shark Tank and did a bit of research. Apparently not enough research though. While they are super sturdy and they do an excellent job of cleaning, I was really disapppointed that they infact did discolor when scrubbing up a greasy pan. My pretty new scrubber is now a brownish color even after washing it by hand and in the dish washer. The are really great at getting things clean, but per the advertisement. 1. I did not notice a "fresh" or "scented" smell 2. They are stained a brownish color from the very first use 3. while you can tell the difference in thickness when you use hot/cold water, it really really isn't as great as you see in teh commercials. I do love them enough for their cleaning power and strenght that, I bought the "Kit" they had as well, and I am definitely going to keep buying as needed! Yes, this is a recommend buy!!

They are hard and scratchy if used in cold water and very soft and pliable in hot. I run them through the dishwasher all the time and they usually come out looking like new. I have been using the same one for dishes, stove, and sink area for about 8 months now. I have one for the bathroom and it easily takes off soap scum, spilled shampoo, and rust marks. I have another that I use when washing cars. It takes off bug guts and tree sap. I have used one on my bbq grill all summer. That one looks gross but still works great. Durable and they get most jobs done. These sponges are incredible!

**Q: What happens when you microwave Scrub Daddy for 1 minute to kill bacteria?**
A: I have microwaved mine numerous times for 30 seconds and had no problems.  I was worried it would fall apart, but it has not.  I have not tried it for 1 min, which would be better.  Also, with regard to the other user's comments that microwaving is not necessary, the scrub daddy does not smell, but i think microwaving sponges is essential.

A: No it is a pack of four

**Q: Can this be used on glass cooktops?**
A: I have a small induction top surface unit with glass cooktop.  I use it on there regularly - I do moisten the scrub daddy to make sure it is "softer."  Works fine. Use it also on my stainless steel sink all the time. Awesome!

**Q: Will it work on hard water stains?**
A: Getting hard water stains off was the reason I bought them. After watching a short infomercial, on YouTube, I thought it might be just the thing. They did nothing! I tried them warm, cold, and even stuck in the fridge as it suggests in the directions to get it as hard as possible. Nada. The only caveat I'd make to this is that, maybe, with the perfect cleaning product, it might get some off. But the infomercial says I don't have to use any cleaning product to make it work. When it comes to hard water stains, I'd look for a cleaning product rather than this as a solution.

Update: These sponges are still working great. Same set. I see other reviews with pictures of deteriorated sponger—either they used crazy chemicals, or there were some knock—offs added to the inventory. Ours work great. Dawn dish soap is all we use and all we need with them. Dishes, counters, sinks. Worth the money—we would have went through $30 worth of sponges in the time we have had this set. ——- Never will I ever buy a stinky, short lived, yellow and green sponge again. These sponges are not a gimmick. They clean and stay clean.
