Summary: Overpriced, but solid construction backed by excellent customer service and the only product I've found tailored to adjustable mounts to accommodate the xbox and playstation systems. I would buy this again in spite of the price tag. ******** Note that I don't use this mount as it was originally intended (vertical mount). Instead, I use it to horizontally mount my xbox 360 underneath my desk. See accompanying pictures. Function: 5/5 stars. The mount is made of 6 adjustable pieces of steel to accommodate varying sizes. This particular model can expand to fit both the xbox 360 and xbox one. Playstation users need a different model. While this product is intended for vertical mount, it can also accommodate the horizontal mount as long as you provide adequate ventilation. In my quest for a minimalist desk, I found this to be the perfect product to mount my xbox horizontally underneath my desk (see pics). As far as function, there isn't much to say, it works as intended, looks professional, is sturdy. Materials: 5/5 stars. Solid steel, coated to prevent rust. Will last a long time. Price: 3/5 stars. Paying $60 for 6 pieces of metal, 4 screws, 4 drywall anchors and 4 thumb nuts is simply too overpriced. I understand this is a family owned business, everything is made/constructed in America, but I still can't justify the price tag on the simplicity of the materials. It's not even shipped in a box, the materials are just shrink-wrapped, supporting my argument that the price is simply too expensive. Customer Service: 5/5 stars. The owner and creator of the product is very passionate about his business. I emailed this gentleman at 10pm EST and he responded to my email within a few minutes. He then continued to answer several emails regarding questions I had on the product for the next 20 minutes. Wasn't expecting a prompt response, but I was impressed with the customer service.

This mount is awesome. I have showed probably 20 relatives that have come over and they couldn't believe how everything look behind the tv. The remote works great and the install was extremely easy. I also called customer service and they were by far the best customer service I have ever dealt with. I definitely recommend this company and item. I personally have a charter box DVR and this box fit perfect.

Well designed product for XBox 360. If you want to mount an XBox 360 vertically against the wall, this is your product. Easy to install and works. One star off because its a little pricey for what it is. But if you're the only game in town, I guess you can charge what you want.

We went all out and bought almost every piece HIDEit makes for our kids game room. We love these wall mounts. We found the small and large HIDEit general boxes are great for hiding surge protectors and other junction boxes. We made the mistake of ordering a Xbox ONE X & S HIDEit mount because I was not aware our kids Xbox ONE was neither, learn from our mistake, the bigger older Xbox ONES need the HIDEit larger mounts for larger items. The PlayStation 4 mount is amazing, and I recommend ordering the sets with the remote control holders. We would like to see more HIDEit products to mount other accessory items for our gaming room.

After 8 years of my husband's excuses about "I'm going to have to cut the wall" and putting it off, I finally decided to stop listening to his excuses and find a solution myself. I wanted the cable box OFF of my mantle and the cords hidden! Enter the HIDEit mount. Easy to install, sturdy, and quickly did the job my husband tried to complicate for 8 years. My cable box remote works without any additional assistance (I just point it towards the wall - the signal bounces and gets to the box right behind the tv). Absolute perfection! Im so happy with it!

I've been using HIDEit Mounts for years. I have one for my Xbox One and PlayStation 4 behind my TV on my wall and they have worked great! I bought another 2 for my girlfriend to clean up her desk since she works from home. I mounted both her work PC and her Xbox One under her desk so she didn't have to walk downstairs to play Xbox on break. Luckily it hasn't impacted her work flow and the ease of swapping from work to fun during break and has probably actually got her to focus more on work.

Didn't have enough room behind the TV but overall I like mount . Sure there are other mounts that cost less but this mount looks better and is very sturdy . Installation takes about 20 min .

This product is pretty awesome. It hides my Xfinity DVR easily behind the tv. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of their explanation behind it's use for the xbox. It will fit an xbox one with little issue, however, mounting it on it's side will mess up the bluray player & can cause issues with the hard drive. Microsoft's FAQ sheet confirms that the Xbox one cannot stay in a vertical position. Outside of that one issue, it's a great product & I highly recommend it.
