worked great--but pack your bike carefully
Just what I needed to haul my bike across the Atlantic and back. The airlines were fine with its size and weight (it was actually cheaper than baggage fees for a normal bag). I included my helmet, shoes, pump, and even put two panier bags with a few clothes in the bag to ship along with it. But be warned, airline travel is hard. I padded everything and used nylon chord to sort of tie everything together to minimize vibrations and rubbing. I wrapped my front forks in bubble wrap AND placed them in a styrofoam box at the bottom of the bag (see photo, helmet next to it for size), but despite it all, the forks still pushed themselves all the way through the bubble wrap and styrofoam (see holes) and started rubbing on the bag! (The bag was probably set upright, so weight was on rear tire and on the forks). Small tears are evident, which I will probably have to cover up with duct tape on the inside for next time. I didn't consider this a bag problem, more a reflection of how much jiggling goes on in there during travel. Bike is fine. I covered the front wheel axle with a laundry soap cup so it wouldn't rub on the side of the bag. I appreciated being able to carry the bag over one shoulder, which was very convenient (much easier than carrying bike in a cardboard box). But the strap has already been ripped down a ways, past the outer pocket. Would have been be better if I'd wrapped the two straps together. Overall I'm pleased with the product and will keep using it, with my modifications as above. But after several trips I expect I may need to buy another one.

Worried About My Move
I wasn't sure if it was worth the expense to take my bike with me when I moved. However, I found this bag ($30 at the time) compared to the several more expensive hard-side boxes, to be an affordable decision. The airline charged $75 to add it to my checked luggage and took great care of it. The bag weighed next to nothing considering its durability (bike and bag = 40 lbs.); so I transferred some heavier items into the bag from my carry-on to lighten my personal carrying weight. This bag and its contents even had a dePlane and rePlane on a different flight and handled the transfer just fine. Must get if you are considering leaving your bike at home. Especially if you plane to rent bikes when you get where you are going.

Not durable
Big enough but not very durable. Transported bicycle once and had to dispose of the bag.

It’s of great value, happy with it.
Got it to haul my 26” Walmart bike that I bought in a bind and it’s worth every penny. Don’t try putting anything larger than a 26” in it though. It fit snug and was able to accommodate my mud dirty bike inside my clean trunk with no further events. Straps didn’t come off, zippers functioned well, and it’s of material thick enough so the pointy parts just don’t dig a hole through it right away. That was a good purchase.

Used to transport bike on plane
Bought this to get my bike across the country via plane. Checked it as “equipment” on Southwest and had to pay the $75 fee. The bag itself isn’t sturdy but as long as you wrap/package your bike accordingly for the flight it’s a great bag at a reasonable price. You could even go to a sports equipment store and ask for a space bike box. I did wrap the vulnerable pieces of the bike really well, I definitely like that the bag has room for the extra padding. A little tricky to maneuver as a shorter woman, but the bag is equipped with strong handles. My bike is a regular adult women’s bike, with slightly thicker wheels than a road bike.

A bike bag among bike bags.
I purchased two of these bags in preparation for a move to Europe. These bags held 2 schwins and more. I think each had a fondue pot with stand at least and yes they were wrapped. The biked arrived mostly undamaged after nearly a week lost and at the TSA's mercy. One bag suffered a hole about the size of a dime and the other had a zipper lost half of its track. My gear set at the pedal had the cover cracked. But everything is still functional. I have no clue as to what or where these bikes inside the bags went before they came home to us but I was pleasantly surprised to see them functioning and with all pieces present. BTW one fondue pot had its stand broken.

Worked great on my bike trip in Europe. Light weight, foldable, fits a medium size gravel bike. Great if you don't want to store a hard case on a bike trip after flying to your destination. For a plane transportation I did the following: 1. Reinforced the interior of the bag with a cardboard (cardboard disposable bike box, for exemple which I got for free in my local bike shop). 2. I put my bike dismantled inside (protected the bike parts as well as possible). 3. When arriving in the destination, I just get rid of the cardboard, folded the bag and carried it with me during my bike trip. 4. At the end, ai found another bike shop to have another cardboard bike box and did the steps 1 to 3. When back home I just got rid of the cardboard and kept the bag for my next trip. I did it from Canada to Europe. Arrived in the Netherlands by plane, disposed the cardboad. And the end of the trip in Italy I got another cardboard and did the same to fly back home. Already planning my next bike trip and doing the same procedure. Pros: - not expensive, it will last for some trips. - a very good option if you dont want to or can't store a hardcase in your trip - as it is foldable and relatively light weight, it is not a big problem carrying it on your bike. - besides the airplane transportation, if you need to get a bus in your bike trip, for exemple, it will work very well without any interior reinforcement (I did it: just put the bike (dismantled and protected) inside the bag and manipulated the bag myself to put it in/out the bus). Cons: - it won't last for many trips or many years as it is made of fabrics Overall: I recommend it

Served the purpose of sending my mountain bike on a plane with me.

If I have one small criticism, I’d like to have seen a sturdier zip but value for money, this was perfect for what I needed
