The antivirus software is effective and easy to install. The activation code is shared in the messages section, allowing for quick activation. It is simple to use and does not slow down the computer unless it is scanning for viruses. Easy to use and affordable.

I feel its a good computer defence program to protect our computer from online and offline offences. Not too much complex to use for a non technical person, like me. It is also provided with a limited 200MB daily VPN access, which is too low. It should be atleast 500 MB daily. Otherwise its ok. But this program asks for every permission to get deep into your system's windows. I don't know it is trustworthy or not. Today, everything is being tracked this way or that way. I am putting my trust in Bitdefender company that my every data remains in hands of good people instead of scammers.

I bought this Antivirus based on its Google rating, after putting aside the Antivirus I was using since around 2006. The features and working efficiency are very good. Scanning, Malware detection and other features are good. Installation and activation is very easy.

This is among the most well known antivirus companies across the globe.Yet the application is buggy and UI is a bit clumsy. Bit Defender Total Security 2020 is put to use. Scans consume a lot of time. In particular, the system scans. Within a week after installation false positives have been seen. Installation took a while but was a breeze to set up. To activate the product one has to register an account in Central. The app will consume some 440 MB of space in memory. While scans are in progress memory consumption will further go up. Enabling archival scan option can freeze the system. The system that is run upon, has a quad core, 8 GB of DDR312800 module RAM installed along with a 7.2k rpm HDD. Still the system does not appear the run the app tidily. You will need an even better system. I imagine some octa cored processor or above with an SSD. Optimization in scans is something very much needed for the app. Possibly the app utilizes bleeding edge technologies. Then there is no way you can shut down the app with a single click. There is no option present to quit the app by a right click on the taskbar notification icon of the app. Updates can not be stopped as you like but for a specified duration. It is desired that the option to manually update be present. The product has its share of bugs. Once in a while after boot the app will not load properly. This is indicated by a greyish icon on the taskbar panel which is usually in red colour when things are fine. Advanced options in the Shield option tend to reset when a system scan is performed. Else the app is not that bad. Included utilities are quite useful, come very handy to maintain system stability. Firewall is effective. The app does not interfere much when not scans are in progresss. Ongoing scans can render the system sluggish.Shield options have to be selected very carefully. What was learnt after nearly two week of use is that if its not broken don't fix it. After installation the app does not need to run system scans. Included AI is not merciful.:-( The company says the app will 'adapt'. That is something i'm yet to see. For a decade I used an AV from another reputed company. That was sort of better. Hope after successive releases the bugs will be patched and the app will come optimized. Amazon as usual delivered the product within the stipulated time peroid. Potential buyers are advised to contemplate upon the system to be installed upon before purchase is done.
