The vanilla bean paste offers cooks an option to achieve a richer, deeper vanilla flavor in baking. I used the paste in cookies instead of vanilla extract and could tell the difference the paste makes. (One teaspoon of vanilla paste equals one teaspoon vanilla extract.) The texture is a thick consistency, more like a syrup than a paste. Besides vanilla beans, the paste contains sugar, alcohol, caramel color, glycerin, and xanthan gum. After opening the bottle, the paste should not be refrigerated, but kept in a cool, dark place.

Bought it because of a YouTube baking reel, so I’m in the experimental phase. Ease of using. Good smell. Has a great taste in my first project.

This is nice. Mostly liquid, not too thin, with lots of vanilla seeds mixed in. I use it for homemade ice cream but it would be nice for baking also.
