I hate ab work outs and once they're visible they could be more awesome, and I could stand to hold them more tightly (it can look like I have a gut even when I have visible abs due to poor lower abdominal fitness). So, I was excited to see this crop of EMS ab units. Did some homework and picked this one. It works is the short answer, but here's some more detail in bullets: I made my way up to advanced levels very quickly, and recommend that anyone who is reasonably fit do the same. I use multiple times a day on most days. Despite the strong contractions, I just don't feel like 20-30 minutes on this is anything like even a 10 minute ab workout in terms of intensity/quality. Some days I'll do like 5 sessions while working at level 7 and 90+ setting. It's a lot, but I tolerate it well and it's easy as I type or sit on a conference call. I definitely can tell a difference...but now I need to lose the weight again before seeing what visible difference it will make (back to the kitchen). It will not give you abs unless you have little to no body fat. Also, I noticed the more bloated your stomach, the the higher you'll need to crank the levels. I used for a month straight and noticed I could do sit ups without someone holding my feet.
