Moves plenty of water great product and great price. This thing works just as good as the big name brands but way cheaper and in my opinion looks better then the rest I've seen. I have read multiple reviews saying that 2 units is the way to go. but for my tank, I think 1 Unit is enough, Cause its very Strong and Powerful, I'm also happy that the unit is not very loud, I Will get another one for my 80 Gallon Fish Tank, expect I will get the same results with this. But this was to replace my old one, which was smaller, they just don't make it any more. This is big, like the size of a 12oz can of beer, and it really moves water. Your fish will be like the guy in the Maxwell tape commercials. I've only had it a month so not sure about longevity, but it's powerful, quiet, and more than does the job. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 12000 good in a 270 gallon saltwater tank *by H***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2019* Good for the price. It is single speed as others have said. It works in my tank as I have external sump which feeds back thru 4 returns that the flow is rotated thru to give variation in the water flow. I needed extra flow rate to create flow at the bottom of my 3' deep tank. As this pump is near the top, do not have a problem with stiring the sand up at the bottom but does keep the junk in the water column till it enters the overflow system to my sump. I am pleased with the pump except for the suction cups. I wish it had magnet system but for my tank it has 1" acrylic and therefore takes a strong magnet. the result is I need to clean an re-seat the pump during my weekly maintenance cycle. I also have one of these pumps in a 75 gallon tank right now and it is too powerful for that tank unless you do not have sand and have very active fish/other stuff. I have had my 12000l/h for 3 months now.
