I bought a used 2005 Rav4 Sport last spring and the original Toyota fob came with a makeshift repair where it had broken where it connects to the split ring. Yesterday that rubberized "goop" fix broke for good so I needed a replacement fob. Didn't need the fob guts, just the case. This fit the bill and was inexpensive and I got it overnight delivery. It took me under 5 minutes to swap the insides from the old fob to the new and it works perfectly. Huzzah! Highly recommend. :)

Do not BUY I have a 2003 tundra and it does not fit the old mother board and the buttons are off waste of money and time...... DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT......

Worked great to replace my broken fob shell. 2004 Toyota Highlander.

Initially I couldn't get it to work when I transferred the internals.. but that was my mistake. It's a good replacement fob although "low-key" bothered it it seems to say UNI OCK instead of UNLOCK. But it works and it wasn't expensive so whatever. I would get it again if necessary.

The replacement remote key fob shell works perfectly for my 2006 Toyota Highlander. I simply pried open the ""old" key fob were the top black plastic key ring was worn out and broken and using a tiny slot screw driver i gently lifted the small circuit board up and out of the "old" key fob. Then I gently placed the circuit board in the same position in the replacement key fob and gently but firmly snapped the two halves of the new fob together. I then attached the new key fob to a key ring with my other keys. The 'Lock" "Unlock" and "Panic" buttons work perfectly in the new fob. I guess this is about $300 cheaper than buying a whole new fob from Toyota complete with programming costs.

I bought this fob case for my 2007 FJ. I was able to swap the circuit board to the new case as supplier noted. It worked so good that I ordered another for back up.

The original components for a 2004 toyota Tacoma do not fit in the case. If you have a hard plastic case around the battery, it wont go into this product.
