Papo Wooly Mammoth

Love this for my grandson, he's been asking for a wooly mammoth for a while. The size is great for his playtime and I know this will last him a long time.

I got this as a gift for my nephew because he loves animals and did not have a mammoth yet. I found this one and noticed that there was also a baby mammoth by the same brand so I ended up getting both. I like this one because it looks more realistic than others. It does have a little bit of weight to it, but my nephew loves it and is able to play with it, so that’s all that matters. It definitely does not seem like something that would break easily, so that is a plus. The only small downside is the price. It seems a little pricey when you compare the size/price of the baby mammoth to the adult mammoth and also that most of their other products are in the $20 range. However, for me it’s not a dealbreaker because the quality is there and I really wanted to get a nice looking mammoth for my nephew. I would definitely shop this brand again since my nephew also loves dinosaurs and they have a lot of those too. Just looking through the brand’s store, they have a wide selection of other animals that look just as good as the mammoth.

well made, good coloring and detail, 1/32 scale i think recommended.

My son has several dinosaurs from Papo and they are far superior to other companies. The Wooly Mammoth is also very realistic in appearance. The tusks are made of a softer material (probably to lessen the likelihood of breakage) and have an airbrushed authentic look. Made of solid material with more rubber-like content than less expensive versions, this helps it to hold up to very active play without the detail being rubbed or abraded off...even when played with out doors in the sand and mud etc.

Every single one of these toys that I have purchased are beyond beautiful and well made from the details to the painting to how thick heavy and solid they are. They also take one heck of a beating. I have even placed some in the dishwasher to get them clean after they had been left out in the rain mud and sun for days on end and they came out of the dishwasher just like when the toys arrived and where brand new. I bought about 20 of these small figures so I will place this review on each of them. Update........ after having these little toys in the house for around 5 months now I have discovered that these are like modern day Legos. By modern day Legos I mean they hurt like hell when you step on one by surprise. Anyways after 4-5 months of abuse by kids, dogs and the dishwasher these little toys are holding up extremely well and I would definitely recommend them.

What a wonderful toy. I added this mammoth with the mammoth baby to my son's collection. Looks great with his papo, safari ltd etc dinosaurs. Sturdy, large, has some nice weight to it, looks the part. The horns are flexible enough not to allow damage to occur to the lm as well as the person playing with the toy. One of my favorite purchases for my son's collection. He loves the baby mammoth as well so make-believes its me and him as mammoths 🦣
