Thank God for the YouTube video!
This is a great mount! Holding my case-less cell for navigation on my Busa, this survived speed bumps, potholes, railroad tracks, hard acceleration & braking, and everything else I could throw at it! I was a little leery because the top grips land right on the phone's buttons and operate functions, so I must mount it off-center, barely on the bottom edge. There's also considerable side to side movement with the way the x-grip is designed. Yet it performed flawlessly and allowed me to move my display from the tank bag to over the key so I barely have to take my eyes off traffic. The written instructions it came with were challenging to follow in my opinion, but I took other reviewer's advice and watched the YouTube video which made installation a breeze and I had it securely mounted in less than 10 minutes. Also nice is that it detaches from the base easily to stow in the trunk when not in use. I'd buy it again and have recommended it to others.

Great Product Fits Perfectly on my GSXR600.
Pros: -Product is relative simple to install as long as you are patient. -Instructions are clear and easy to follow -Product looks great -Fits my iPhone 11 Pro Max even though its not listed as being compatible (it is a little tight though) Cons: -Would have been nice if the package came with the Allen key needed to tighten screw. -the Ram arms takes some getting use to. I only rode with this once and called emergency service twice due to the positioning of the arms on my iPhone. Summary: Definitely worth it and I highly recommend this to anyone on the fence about this mount. It is very sturdy, and with patience and the right tools, a breeze to install.

Unless you want a new phone don’t buy
Nothing better that going riding to work in the morning and looking down to see your $1200 iPhone decided to take vacation on the highway. For such a secure mount it wasn’t very difficult for my new phone to come out of the web and mount. Thought I was making the right choice buying this but it cost me in the long run. Used it 2 times and this is what it got me. The first time I tried to order the mount I never received it and I should have taken that as a sign. Tried to return my 2nd order and they won’t accept it. Guess I learned the hard way but I won’t be buying anything from them any time soon. Please do your research before ordering.

Grove at bottom rotates my whole mount (not intended)
Does what it needs to instruction are pretty clear however it does not seat perfectly flush to the stem for my bike. The plastic bit has some groves that go into the stem and it make it to where it rotates the whole mount even if the rest is locked up. I like these over cheap options or the phone case option from rock form or whatever.

Bought for my boyfriends BMW S100RR
Works great, would definitely recommend to others. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is using the instructions given, doesn't elaborate enough to securely install. we ended up watching a YouTube video and having our other friend who installed watching a YouTube video help. Otherwise it didn't seem very securely installed, so don't use instructions. Otherwise the product is greats, holds phone securely, definitely would recommend to fellow riders.

The mount is good after modifications - see modification details below...
Two issues with this mount: 1) Took off 1/2 a star rating because the spring loaded arms for the phone mount interfere with the volume and power buttons on my iPhone 12 Pro if it's centered in the mount. I have to slide my phone all the way to one side to not be pressing buttons and this puts it at more of a risk of falling out. 2) Took off 1.5 stars because if installed as directed, the main ball assembly (the part that actually has the stem mount) will swivel and there is no way to stop it from doing so. If you further tighten the screw to expand the rubber inside the stem, the nut will literally chew away at the bottom of the rubber and destroy it and the top of the rubber will start protruding from the stem itself... and even then the main ball assembly will still swivel. On most bikes, such as my 2019 Yamaha R1, the fix to this is simple and took me less than 15 minutes to do the 5 steps below, BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE RIGHT TOOLS and a replacement bolt that is 5mm longer. A video of showing this exact issue and fix is on YouTube and can be found by searching for "Ram Mount Fork Stem X-grip Installation - Secure method". The only difference in my method is I cutoff entire bottom side of the the mount to be completely flat. 1) Find a nearby bolt on the handlebar and test out the location to ensure the RAM mount does not have any fitment issues. In my case, there is a M6-1.0x25mm bolt to the right of the stem. 2) Buy a new STAINLESS STEEL (do not cheap out here) bolt that is 5mm longer to account for the mount thickness if you choose to cut/grind the mount flat like I did. I chose to go with a button head bolt for a lower profile than the OEM bolt. 3) I used a cutoff wheel with an angle grinder and placed the mount in a vice to smoothly cut off the bottom side of the mount and make it flush all the way across. If you use a vice, be gentle, the ball is not metal and will get indentions if you clamp down too hard. 4) Expand the hole size in the mount to fit your bolt size. I used a step drill bit which made it easy and results in a cleaner finish than using a standard drill bit. 5) Use a little BLUE (so you can remove it later if needed) Loctite on the bottom of the bolt threads and tighten down the bolt snug (don't go crazy, let the Loctite do it's job).

Installed on Ducati V4S
This is a great accessory to hold one's phone. It was a bit challenging, due to the forkstem situation on the new Ducati superbikes, but we made it work. The interesting thing about this product I just learned, and this is the 3rd I've purchased, RAM offers a lifetime warranty on this product. How amazing is that!?!? I will continue to purchase this reliable product from that standpoint alone. The only suggestion I have is for RAM to bring back the different sizes of the rubber safety harness for the phone. I normally purchase the large holder but went with a smaller one due to the rubber safety harness not working well with my phone and the large X-grip.

CBR 600RR RAM Mount Is Awesome!!
My 'RAM Mount' came in the mail yesterday and I was excited to install it so I don't have to keep my phone in my pockets anymore. Once I opened the package, it came with a set of instructions and a bunch of loose washers and other pieces I was sure I was going to lose because I had no clue what pieces I would need to install this awesome accessory!! The instructions were pretty easy to follow to install the mount. The only problem I had with installing the 'Ram Mount' was the rubber cone you had to fit in the down tube hole and cut. It stated in the instructions to 'cut about 1/8" of an inch above where the top of the down tube is on the cone...' Well, I am a guy that likes to err on the side of caution, so I cut the rubber cone a little more than 1/8". Well i was wrong when i did that. It took me a little bit longer to install, and a few trim jobs to get the rubber piece to fit into the downtube hole correctly. After finding an alan wrench that fit the screw head that tightened the mount in the down tube, I started turning! The screw turned but didn't tighten up and fully 'Secure' the mount. It can still rotate and move a little but found out that does not matter and will still function great, keeping my phone out of the way of the dash, and turning radius.
