It has gotten tipped over twice (but I have small children and a very clumsy dog). I think it will be fairly easy to reinforce with a slender rod down the center. It is easy to water, and even though we got a late start planting (and replanting after the dog knocked it over again), we have eaten a few strawberries that we grew. I love that it has wheels to rotate the whole stack for even growth, I have mine on gravel right now so it does not turn on the wheels but the planter rotates inside the bottom tray easily so I just spin the top planters until I get it on a flat surface. I am also planning on putting in a rod to make it more stable but even without that I have not had any issue with stability (after having it about a month we did have a wind storm and it fell over once that was with out the rod). When I got these planters, they were purchased as an addition to the larger ones sold. Being smaller they are much lighter in size, therefore making them unstable when stacked on their own. These planters do come with a hold in the middle for a separate, but not included, round pole or stake for stability.
