Wouold this kit be sufficient?** A: I don't think so. The pipe wrap wouldn't cover the pipe and it's a big diameter to freeze **Q: Will this product work on plastic pipes ?** A: Take some advice from someone who brought it and followed the instructions to the letter.... avoid at all costs. Don’t cut corners it will cost you more in the long run. It didn’t even hold for 10 minutes! **Q: Can you cut the jacket to fit a tight space** A: well it can definitely be cut - it's just foam with a plastic outer but the smaller it gets the less effective I imagine it would become. Also the ends once cable tied account for at least a third of the overall length, so you would just be reducing the reservoir space for the coolant. I guess you could just give it a go if that's your only option. **Q: Will it freeze 22mm copper pipe?** A: Seriously wouldn’t trust the stuff. I used it and followed all instructions and it failed. Luckily it was a pipe that was over the bath so no damage. Plumber I spoke to said never use it. Very easy to use and freeze stayed effective long enough that I did not have to rush the repair. If I had to offer one bit of advice, have spare cable ties, to secure the sleeve.
