The eSpanish Teacher's Beginner Spanish Language Course is a one-of-a-kind course that really has the feel of being taught by a live teacher. From the very beginning, it feels as if the teacher is right there with you, guiding you and encouraging in your journey to learning Spanish. With each Lesson there are examples and even a little quiz at the end to see what you have retained. The teacher really has a wonderful way of explaining things and giving some history to why some things are used in the Spanish language. Along with this Course is a bonus CD that contains extra teaching on Spanish Verbs. It is in the same style as the regular Course. I especially enjoyed the last two Lessons on the Spanish Verbs CD. I highly recommend this to anyone who is wanting to learn Spanish. This is the next best thing to having a private tutor. I look forward to using the next course that he has!!!

I was so excited to order this language course. Excited and concerned. Most courses say they're not boring and say they'll easily be able to teach you to learn a new language but few deliver. I am a intermediate Spanish speaking individual but my family is not so they've always wanted to learn to speak Spanish. I bought this course hoping that it will help them on their way to learning. I sat down to go through the course and see how it was myself before launching it on my 7 & 13 year old kids and my husband and I was SO bored. I thought the speakers voice was monotone and even when he was saying he was so excited he did not sound so excited he sounded so tired. I hate criticizing someone's work because I know how tedious it can be to record something like this, I've been part of audio productions like these before and I've seen the hours that go in to minutes of audio/presentations, etc. In addition to the speakers voice the content was very slow. I felt like I was taking Spanish from a teacher that didn't want to be in class, not from an individual who had a passion for teaching others the language of Spanish. The information was accurate, the content was fine it was just very very bland. I know my 7 year old and my husband will not learn well from this form of presentation. I've given it to my 13 year old to see if she can sit through any of it and learn anything. She tends to like the dryer teachers in her school anyway so maybe she'll get a lot out of this before she starts Spanish classes in the fall. Would I recommend this to a friend? Once I explained how monotonous the speaker is and how there is little (actually no) graphics to follow on the presentation I would if they were comfortable with that. If they want cut and dry content on how to start understanding and learning Spanish....parts of speech, conjugating verbs, etc. I wish I had better information to report, I really do. I will continue seeking the best way to teach my family Spanish (immersion by moving to the Caribbean maybe?!?) I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review but that in no way changed my rating. While I did not like this product and do not think it will help my family, it may be helpful to others with different personalities and learning styles.

Product is advertised as working on Windows and Mac. Inserted the DVD and got the message "This app. does not run on your computer" Very annoyed and sending it back.

Over 50% of language learning is YOU. your desire and motivation. Why spend $200 dollars on a course you might not use in 5 months. Get this, get it now. This is not a download, its a hard copy. so I can use it on my 4 computers. 2 laptops and 2 desktops. it works on all 4. 3 with windows 7 and one with windows 8. I had to change my review. At first the CD would not run and I was disappointed. This turned out to be a Windows 10 and Adobe problem. I emailed for help and they answered. I just started using today and it seems very good. Looking forward to learning more.

I couldn't use it. When I play the disc, it only gives me a bunch of topics. If I click on any of them, nothing shows up.

This course is interesting, well thought out and easy to follow, and though I've been studying it only a few days I've already got a lot out of it. In particular, the section on 'the parts of speech' is excellent, in that it clearly explains the nuts and bolts of the English language and demystifies the often confusing terminology. That makes these concepts much easier to understand when applying them to learning Spanish, and if - like me - you're tired of trying to figure out what an 'article' or 'subject pronoun' is when using the various other language methods out there then this is definitely the course for you. Also, at the price, it's an absolute steal. Highly recommended!
