Consistently significantly inaccurate
Has not given the correct temperature since the day it was delivered a few years ago. I always calibrate my candy thermometers prior to making lollipops or any other hard candy to ensure they come out as expected and I have several candy thermometers so I just try all of them in boiling water to see which one reads closes to 212 F and use that one, well this specific thermometer I got because I wanted one that was enclosed that could be submerged in water when washing it, that's a plus but it never has to get washed because it is always the most inaccurate reading thermometer I own and has always been this way since day one. Just recently I decided to not even boil it when calibrating the others. I need to just toss it but hate to just throw money away. I guess I was hoping and waiting for it to magically one day read accurately but that isn't going to happen, I do not recommend this thermometer, it simply does not function as it should and accuracy is extremely important when making candy. Do not buy this one there are better ones out there.

A home run
It is a nice feeling to order an item and when the order comes it what you expected. A home run. To many times with Chinese products they don't stand up to quality that I was use to. It seem they are only out to make at all costs. I always loose.
