I have 5gig symmetrical speeds and on my old SFP adapter and I had tried numerous ones including genuine UniFi adapters and none of them would get my advertised speeds especially on the upload. My download speeds were always spot on but my upload speeds would always be cut in half no matter what settings I changed it just would never get my advertised speed. I finally went with this mikrotik adapter and it’s been the only adapter that gets my full advertised speeds on my UCG fiber. The adapter is amazing and anyone who uses SFP adapters knows that sometimes they can get very hot but this one has kept the temps down a lot better than anyone of the other brands I have used. This is just a rock solid SFP adapter and fixed my speed issues immediately on my ucg fiber router. Excellent stability it’s hot swappable and it’s easy to use and just plug and play. Stability wise it’s rock solid and I get full speeds on both download and upload and uses very little power to use this. My ucg fiber recognized the adapter immediately and I was connected instantly.
