**Q: Can it accept 12 gauge**
A: I think 12 gauge would be too thick.

**Q: Are they hollow from one side to the other?**
A: No they are not hollow.  You press down on one end to insert a wire, then release to clamp it shut, and do the same for the other end.  The connection is made with the metal contact. that touches both wires.  It's efficient, fast, and and you can screw this terminal block into wood, or use a bolt and nut to secure it if needed.

**Q: Are they marked as shown in the product photo?**
A: No, they are blank

**Q: 12 gauge and 240 volts ac**
A: The diameter of the tube can hold 12 gauge wire, but I wouldn't put 110, let alone 240 V AC thru it (but I'm not an electrical engineer)...

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost Perfect!

I’m giving these 5 stars even though they aren’t labeled as the picture shows. And honestly, unless you’re using the same color insulated wire for your entire project, it isn’t really an issue. My low voltage tape lighting glows perfectly above and below my cabinets now. I initially used scotchlok connectors for my build, but due to the scotchlok being known to sever the wire as it clamps down, I was left with light strobing/flickering within some of my runs. Now that I’ve replaced them all with these, my problem is solved. Way quicker than soldering, too! These are made well, insulated well, and work exactly as needed. Very happy with this product!
