WELKFORDER WFL011 Single Leg 6-Foot Fall Protection Shock Absorber Stretchable Lanyard is designed for minimizing the consequences of a fall form a height, by mean of built in deceleration system. The Snap hook must be connected to the dorsal D-ring of the full body harness. The Rebar Hooks are to be connected to the anchorage connector. - WELKFORDER WFL011 Single Leg 6-Foot Fall Protection Shock Absorber Stretchable Lanyards have the fully passed test report performed at authoritative laboratory in accordance with ANSI Z359.13-2013. For all-day job performance for users within the capacity range of 130 to 310 pounds (59 to 140 kg). General Size great for construction workers, carpenters, painters, roofers, tower climbers, window cleaners etc.
- The Shock Absorbers are designed for up to 6-foot free fall applications with a maximum capacity up to 310 lb. (141 kg) including clothing, tools, etc. with a maximum deployment distance of 48 inch/1.2m & average arresting force 900lbs. Statically tested with a minimum breaking strength more than 5,000 pounds (22.2 kN).
- The External Tubular webbing is made of 100% polyester Heavy Duty construction materials provides maximum security with breaking strength: 5000lbs. Stretchable internal elastic makes a prominent working condition. Applied with Anti-abrasive Hollow Webbing for protecting every connecting ends from abrasion.
- Snap & Rebar Hooks used on WELKFORDER Shock Absorber Stretchable Lanyard marked with the “ANSI Z359.12” standard are self-locking with minimal tensile break strength of 5,000 lb. and a 3,600 lb. gate rating. The Snap hook hould be connected to the dorsal D-ring of the full body harness as a part of a personal fall arrest system.
- The Shock Absorber lanyard's webbing must be inspected for tears, cuts, fraying, abrasion, discoloration, or other signs of wear and damage. Sewn terminations must be secure, complete, and not visibly damaged. All Snap & Rebar Hooks on product must be able to self-close and lock.

I purchased this item to secure myself while doing tree trimming of small trees on a sloped hill area. I have also used it for weed whacking on sloped hill areas. Great quality and dependable.

It does the job by providing me with a secure connection to a ladder. I have not fallen since using it but I tested it at a low level to see if it would hold me (165 lb). It tested well. Also, the clip-hook to the ladder is very robust but easy to clip/unclip as I move up and down on the ladder. I can't rate its durability because of the short time I've had it. But it seems like I'll be able to use it for many years. Well made product.
