Review: Well made, fits perfectly into a 2" receiver on a tow hitch without any rattle. The D ring has a plastic coating on it to protect from wear and tear. Machined well, so it's easy to remove the threaded pin to take the D-dring portion on and off. get a locking hitch pin and you can safely leave it in place full time. Have used it to help pull out a stuck cube truck with a snatch strap. Worked great.

A: Made in China, so is your iPhone most of your car parts all made in a cheaper factory outside of the united states to save money on labor. Most people hate stuff made in other countries but still use them ignorantly

A: They are without a doubt made in China. They're trying to imply that the products are made in the USA by using false advertising, beware.

**Q: What is the actual rated working load limit of this hitch mounted shackle?**
A: According to Rhino USA, all of their load ratings use a safety factor of 3. Since the Break Strength of their Shackle Hitch is 41,850, dividing that by three would yield a Working Load of 13,950.

Or, if you use the older Break Strength of 31,418 it would have a Working Load of 10,473.

**Q: Does it come with a pin?**
A: "Does it come with a pin?" is somewhat ambiguous.  There are two pins required for operation, so to which pin are you referring?

-The pin to connect the D-ring shackle to the square tubing?  Yes, it is supplied.
-The pin to keep the square tubing from sliding out of your receiver hitch?  No, but it should be the same size as what came with your receiver hitch.

This shackle hitch receiver is HEAVY-DUTY. I almost bought one for half the price before I noticed it weighed about a third of this one from Rhino! Great finish, everything fits together perfectly. I don't expect to ever have to buy another one unless I lose it in my junk-filled garage.
