I was a little worried based on other reviews about them being slippery, so I purchased some clear bath treads non slip stickers just in case. This means that if you stop anywhere near the edge on either of its longer sides, it starts to flip up on you like a skateboard. Imagine stepping on a lawn rake how it wants to come up and hit you. When this happens that also makes a very very loud noise in my bathroom. It looks great but I will try something different next time.I suggest that anything you stand on be wider at the bottom rather than narrower at the bottom, even if it's only an inch.
