Nice books which covers almost all parts of real analysis, and including measure theory, and gave a strong basis to abstract space like metric, topological, banach, and Hilbert. Best book for studying and understand the concept. Thanks Amazon to deliver this product at time

It is a great book for advance studies in Analysis. Really enjoyable. But one con that is very much noticeable is the poor printing quality. But we are getting the book at such low price, so this issue is ignorable. If you are ready to pay 10 or 12 times more and you are not at all comfortable with the printing quality, you can go for international hardcover edition.

after lot of research i found thid book for real analysis because we all know that there are very few books of real analysis which comes with solved examples i found this book very helpful as i was able to understand therorems through solved examples and this book is also helpful for those who r preparing for mathemattics subject as their optional subject

I got hard cover copy with good quality paper for fairly low price. This book is really good for introduction to measure theory. It has wide variety of good problems. Many topics have initially studied in Lebesgue measure space then generalised which certainly helps in understanding.

For Advance Real analysis this one of the best standard book.... World's top university professors have written.... It's has given sufficient explanation on Lebesgue measure and functional analysis....

The contents is Masterclass no doubt , but the Print quality is the worst ,it's so horrible that your eyes may get discomfort to read particular things and the quality is so poor that it looks worse than a Xerox copy . Pearson is really disappointing nowdays First Linear Algebra (Friedberg) , Topology (Munkres) , Algebra (Artin) all these books from Pearson publication has reduced ending chapters and now poor print quality of real analysis My suggestion is don't buy books from Pearson rather go with PHI or Other publication or rather print

Master Piece .. See people complain about its printing ,i really disagree because printing is not that much bad but I will say OK.But as its being published by Pearson expectations are more.When book was published by PHI its printing was really excellent and page quality too.But see if you want to complain then complain but first think are you ready to cash out 6000 to 8000 rupees for international edition.As we get to read same content in low price have it ,its good.I again say printing is ok but neglect it and look at its contents.

Only want to inform that the quality of the pages and the print is 3rd class. The contents and the materials inside it are nodoubt exellent ! But the print quality is very very bad, not at all prominent.

Apenas recibí el libro, y veo que el contenido es bastante bueno. Pero quiero comentar que la calidad de las hojas no es buena (muy delgadas) y la impresión de el texto es bastante malo. Se ve borroso el texto en el 98% de las páginas (las primeras 30 paginas aproximadamente se ven mejor). Yo no tengo buena vista ya y este detalle no me favorece. Ojalá sea solamente el ejemplar que me tocó a mí. Estudiaré el contenido y podré posteriormente dar más detalles de lo que me pareció en este aspecto, que de entrada, lo veo muy completo e interesante. Espero sirva mi comentario.

This 4th Ed. for Royden/Fitzpatrick "Real Analysis" represents a very good documentation of as written on the back cover "the material that every graduate student should know in the classical theory of functions of a real variable, measure and integration theory." That is all one gets. I would have given 5 stars to the book if the theory would have been actually explained using relevant examples and figures/drawings and in turn illustrate the main ideas and concepts. Examples, figures and drawings are quasi-nonexistent is that book. Presenting ideas and concepts in an abstract way does mean to present them in an opaque and obscur way where pedagogy is non-existant. Also, solution manual to at least the odd or the even numbered problems would be very helpful. To understand that book one needs to read other textbooks to fully understand what is in this book. I used the book (3rd Ed.) for a course in Real Analysis but I had to read other textbooks to understand what is documented in this book. I am now using the 4th Ed. for a course in Measure Theory and again reading other textbooks is necessary to understand the documentation.

Le livre couvre beaucoup arguments avec des preuves détaillées et des explications avant chaque théorème. Il y'a aussi beaucoup exercices.

So glad to see this book is still going strong. It is an indispensable textbook on Integration theory I do, however, miss the original hardcover version with the blue cover!
