Unfortunately, the ASIN you have provided, did not produce any search results, and so with the current information, we would be unable to offer any further assistance or recommendations. You can however, contact your local Pro-Ject distributor for further advice and assistance on this matter, and they will be more than happy to provide additional help in this matter. I hope this helps. **Q: Can I use this to improve phono stage on existing amp or should it be routed through aux input** A: Hi, thanks for your question. You should connect the phono stage to an aux (sometimes known as 'line' input). Kind Regards, **Q: I think the pre amp on the phono input on my marantz amp has failed. could i use this through the tuner input on the amp to play vinyl ?** A: Yes you certainly can. So record player into Project phono stage then RCA cables from Project into Aux or tuner input on your Marantz amplifier. I'd also be surprised if the Project phono stage doesn't perform better than the phono input on your amplifier. **Q: Is this as simple as replacing this with my existing project MM ?** A: Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. Yes, you should just be able to put this in your system in place of the MM, connecting the cables over and adjusting the cartridge settings accordingly. I hope this helps. ## Frequently Bought Together - Pro-Ject Tube Box S2 Pure-Tube MM/MC Phono Preamplifier (Black) - Primeda Auidophile 2RCA Male to 2RCA Male Stereo Audio Cable,Gold Plated | 4N Oxgen-Free Copper Core (3 Feet (1M)) - Monoprice 1.5ft Premium 2 RCA Plug/2 RCA Plug M/M 22AWG Cable - Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.id/products/87763493-tube-box-s2-black-phono-preamp](https://www.desertcart.id/products/87763493-tube-box-s2-black-phono-preamp) --- *Product available on Desertcart Indonesia* *Store origin: ID* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
