I've ordered the 1 lb pack twice and both times I was really impressed by the enormous size of the nuts, the delicious, crunchy flavor and texture, and the freshness. You can tell the freshness by the creamy, light color, the clean, intact condition of the nuts (not waxy or with a powdery coating), and the fact that there is no odor. Besides, roasting does something to the oil, which makes it less healthy...or so I have read.
