Some of the songs are really catchy. I used this CD for Intervention and for five minutes before dismissal. There might be better CDs out there, but this one was very helpful. I would use only some of the songs with higher grades as the students might think the others are a bit "hokey". ### ⭐⭐⭐ I guess with a name like multiplication "unplugged" *by M***T on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 22, 2015* I mean, really, I don't know what I was expecting! It's songs about multiplication tables. I guess with a name like multiplication "unplugged", I just expected something more catchy. To me, the songs kind of run together. It's not terrible just a bit grating on my nerves( the voices). I guess that's what head phones are for. You would want the child to focus on one song for several days until they had mastered that number before moving on. Listening to this whole CD would be overwhelming! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An easy way and efficient way to learn to multiply *by P***T on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 19, 2009* I bought this for my 8 yr. old granddaughter who was having trouble retaining the multiplication facts. She is an "A" student and usually learns easily but just as it seemed that she had the facts in her head she'd lose them. She understood how to multiply and could work out the answer but we wanted her to memorize the facts so she could do her math work quickly and efficiently. The music is catchy, if not current. My daughter and son in law had a laugh over the tunes but were soon impressed. As a result of listening to the cd in the car and twice daily before falling asleep she quickly learned to count by 2s - 12s. She then progressed so that she's learned her times tables quickly and easily. Her teacher is so impressed that she has recommended it to the rest of the 3rd grade class. My granddaughter did not seem to like the book as well, but the purpose was for her to learn to multiply quickly and she has done so. I would recommend this cd to everyone. Just keep in mind that it needs to be played and sung along to - so play it in the car and sing along.
