The reason I am giving this a 4 is that if you bang the site on anything, like I did on first day of use dove hunting, climbing under a horse fence, it cracked the filament midway and it fell out. I found it and glued it back in but it only had 1/2 the light catching capability because of the break and why I bought the second one. I recommend putting a small drop of crazy glue in a couple of holding brackets so that if you do this you don't lose the filament altogether. Otherwise, it is quite helpful in getting proper alignment for a shot, especially when busting quail when you are snap shooting and can easily line up high or to the side before pulling the trigger and then missing.
