I have a very nice photo scanner and am wondering if Kimwipes would work well for keeping the glass clean and smudge free. Are they lint free?

Ber, Kimwipes are Anti-static polyshield wipes with LintGuard. It Cleans lens very nicely with no lint I imagine it would be the same for the photo scanner.

I've used these on microscopes in lab. Will they work for my dslr lenses?

Most likely. We use them to clean our 10" and 17 1/2" Dobsonian telescope lenses. They do a great job. No lint, no streaks!

Would these be good to wipe my fingers before inserting my contact lense?

It might be a good idea if you washed your hands, then insert your contact lens. I wouldn't bother with a Kimwipe. Thanks.John
