This compound slab is very yummy.Used it for baking purposes Like for cakes..making no bake tart.this product is genuine and its quality is above up to the mark. As it comes from the house bakersville. recieved in a veru good oacking condition as amazon is also known for its packing and same with this product. Go and buy this right now. Dont think anything its very useful for baking purpose and also it can be eaten as normal chockate but better melt it first and then use nuts and mould it or u can use this for brownie Choco lava cake.Its taste is same as like sunfeast dark fantasy choco filling.Thanks bakersville and amazon. Got the chocolate today. The package was fine and chocolate was set too(offcourse, due to low temperature in Himachal). The chocolate tastes good(not so bad or fabulous). There's no information written on the pack regarding milk or any milk product used in the pack but I'm allergic to milk and got few rashes on my face and itching in my mouth and throat after eating the chocolate but that was for a very less time(I suffers from more serious problems that these after consuming a milk product). So, that might be because I ate chocolate after so long time.

Absolutely wonderful product at an extremely competitive price. I can vouch for a fact that it possesses amazing texture and taste; when compared with other compound chocolate brands in the market. I baked some brownies, molten lava cakes and prepared some ganache, and to my utter delightfulness all the items turned out fabulously sinful. One suggestion to the manufacturer would be to increase the content of cocoa liquor from the current 18-38% to around 60% to enable a baking enthusiast like me to provide glossiness and sheen to the finished products. Surely gonna order a few more packs soon.

I bought it for baking and it is pretty good, especially for its price. I have baked chocolate cakes, brownies and made syrups with this. It is a good amount too. I still have a quarter of it left. I would buy it again for sure.

I was a little lazy to write a review but after a horrible experience with another brand, I feel like I ought to. As far as I have seen so far, this is the only decent compound chocolate you can find in India. It tastes good, it melts good, it sets good. Nothing to complain except the fact it is compound chocolate. I wish you guys launch your version of couverture chocolate soon. I have tried all variety of slabs from this brand and they are equally good, except the white chocolate, which I think kind of depends on personal taste actually.

If u add plenty of butter and 1 small tin of condensed milk then the end product tastes better than Dairy milk, that I can guarantee. No need to add sugar, made rum and raisin chocolate from it ,tastes yummeee.......... purchased a 90 rs bournville rum and raisins to compare, In my opinion homemade one tastes better!!!! thanks to this now I have 1.5 kilo absolutely delicious rum and raisin chocolate to enjoy!!!!!! No doubt this dark compound chocolate slab did the job pretty well!!!

I've bought these slabs multiple times and they're fine, but here's the catch - it's not worth Rs. 180, the total price you pay for the bar because of shipping charges. I would've liked it if they were amazon fulfilled so I could get free shipping, because 60 rupees for every bar you order is too much. Now about the product, it's a compound chocolate so it's basically just cocoa powder mixed with shortening (any fat that is solid is room temperature, like hydrogenated vegetable oil and all is called shortening, and it clogs your arteries). It is widely used in cakes and other baked goods available commercially, and we unknowingly consume it, but that's one sort of fat Indians should avoid like plague, because genetics are not particularly on our side as far as cardiovascular diseases are concerned, so avoiding trans fats and tobacco is our best bet. Having said that, I used this to make chocolate covered biscuits for the sweepers, gardeners and security guards of our development during Diwali and they really liked them. They have large families so eating a couple of pieces won't kill anyone, but just don't go berserk and eat them like normal chocolate thinking dark chocolate is good for health. This is not the dark chocolate they're talking about.
