I put it in with a half tank still in the gas tank then filled up will that effect how well it works?

This Rislone stuff works REALLY well, especially if you've never used a fuel system cleaner to clean your fuel lines & intake. To get the maximum cleaning effect, you should run your tank down to 1/5 of a tank, and THEN put in the whole bottle and drive your car around until you get down to only 25 miles left and THEN, fill up to ONLY a 1/2 tank. This is my only "system" and it's not what they say to do on the bottle. In essence, when you put the bottle in, with 1/2 a tank and THEN, filled up.....you just diluted the strength of that 1 x bottle, by adding all the extra fuel. Try doing what I suggested and it will clean your fuel lines out very very well plus any carbon buildup within your intake or combustion chamber. Good Luck.

how come i was charged tax on a fuel treatment additive being sold by amazon...but not on  other items being sold by other sellers

From my understanding it’s because the seller is in your state. When you buy product from seller or of state there are no taxes. That’s why the government is trying to pass new laws to be able to tax the products.
