This hour meter does not come with butterfly connectors as shown in the picture. However, this will fit a round mounting hole, as well as, square one.

Time keeping of the Jayron JR-HM005DC Snap in hour meter seems to be O.K. However, the design of the case retention and the electrical connection pins is non-standard. This caused me major problems that required several hours to resolve. The only provided means of meter retention precludes its use in most wooden panel with a thickness over 1/4" . The electrical pins are extremely small. My existing standard-size plugs would not fit on the the existing meter pins with any degree of tightness and reliability. To overcome the mounting problem I had to install a 10-32 threaded stud in the back of the plastic meter and fabricate a U-shaped aluminum bracket, with a hole for the screw in its center, to fit over the screw, which held the meter in place more conventionally. To overcome the extremely-small-connection-pins problem I had to solder onto the meters existing pins, extension pieces made from larger, standard-size, pins that I found in my spare parts drawer. I would not buy this meter again.

I shoulda read the reviews........You have to be close and at the right angle to see it.

LCD is barely visible. You have to be up close and perfect eye level to see the numbers. Do not recommend.

Great little hour meter. AC/DC input makes them ery versatile however, I find that the re-set feature is not truly compatible with AC current. I am using one unit for a 72VDC solar pool filter pump which creates AC current when running. This meter is perfect for my application and has worked flawlessly. I recommend this product
