As far as the tool, it worked on my 08 Expedition. I purchased new tires and sensors from Costco and kept getting fault codes after installation. After several trips back and forth to Costco, they basically gave up saying the tires and sensors were fine and said it was a problem with the ECM in the truck. This worked great to configure the new sensors. Note, for this Ford, it's not good enough to use the "hazard button" version that you might have seen. That's for sensors that have already been paired with the truck, I think. For new sensors, you need to use the brake pedal method. After trying the hazard way, the brake method worked immediately. Put the key in (don't turn it on), depress the brake pedal, take your foot off of the brake pedal, then cycle the ignition ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON. Leave it on, and press the brake pedal again (depress, take your foot off). Cycle the ignition three more times, starting with Off. (OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON) You'll get the "train left front tire" message, and that's when you go press the green button against the tire wall near the stem.
