It comes with a battery and charger and is bright for the money, and it seems well made, but the claims of its brightness are wildly exaggerated. My Lenser p7 (mark 1), which did cost considerably more, is slightly brighter and has a slightly better 'throw' and it is rated at <200 lumens. So if you want a decent, cheap torch for a low cost go for it but if you think you're going to get a super torch then you will be disappointed. I do suspect the same applies to similar 'budget' torches.After reading this review, Semlos changed the description of the brightness and then, when the torch was upgraded, sent me a free new one. I have reviewed this separately but to summarise the new one gives an amazing amount of light for a torch so small and cheap. the 5 stars review is for the updated version. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars UPDATE: Replacement sent *by P***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 February 2019* This item produces very poor illumination, it could be a faulty unit but unfortunately the 'Amazon return window' has closed after only a short time. It wasn't very expensive but I have purchased cheaper torches before and they give a really good light. One to avoidUPDATE: I contacted the seller who sent out a replacement. I haven't actually had a chance to test it yet as haven't required a torch in the lighter months! I have been using this torch for a few days now and can say it earns the β€œadjustable” in its name and is much improved, with the ability to use either three AAA batteries or an 18650 battery. Super bright and the zoom is good. The version I was provided with however did not come with an 18650 battery like the older iteration, and so these can be purchased separately at a low cost.
